The internet has plenty of free material including your logo.... in order to tolerate this you have to face the fact that free stuff on the internet (this inclueds models) will be stolen some time with copy Right laws or not. You can do everything in your power to stop this if you want. The only way this is arugeable is if you have copyright symbol and experation date on it.

Actually not really. EVERYTHING you create with your computer and put up on the net is indeed copyrighted to the author. You cannot steal models, websites or images for example.

actually you can't assume that the material you create is copywritten you can only ask that no one duplicate or steal the material. Dont expect to win any court cases over a picture either if you sue

I personally think it's pointless to start an argument against someone who actually knows what he's talking about when the person who started the argument obviously has no clue about copyrights. 'Nuff said.

i just made a question, as dar as i know you have to pay to legally copyright something. if not what the hell are the copyright fees for then? maybe if you do a little more research you will realize that yes, TO LEGALLY COPYRIGHT YOUR WORK YOU NEED TO PAY.
http://www.whatiscopyright.org/
Quote:
For example, my brother is a musician and he lives in the United States. When he writes new lyrics, he prints them out on paper, signs his name at the bottom with the Copyright © symbol to show that he is the author, places it in an envelope and mails it to himself without opening it. His copyright begins at the moment he puts his idea in a tangible form by printing the lyrics out on paper. He creates proof when he mails it to himself - the postmark establishes the date of creation. He then registers his copyright with the U.S. Copyright Office which is a requirement in order to sue for monetary damages should a violation of his copyright arise. However, if somebody copies and redistributes his lyrics without permission before his copyright is registered, he still has the right to assert a copyright claim as the true author.

just an example of what is in the website.
