 Post subject: mv and milkshape trouble

this is a strange problem but...when ever i load .mdl file into model viewer or milkshape (1.6.5) nothing shows up...its stays blank...i tried reinstalling and nothing happned. helpppp pleaseeee..... :(

You need to decompile the model to load it with Milkshape. :wink:



I do know of one model which doesn't appear in HLMV, an old G3 hack for AUG.

Very strange, tried looking around the Milkshape site and forums for any similar problems, or posting there yourself? That's probably your best bet, sounds like a problem with the software rather than the models. :?

a similar thing happens to me in HLMV, sometimes the models im tryin to look at arent there and theres no textures or anims or anything, just a black window

was it a trojan because i recently had one...and i quarantined it because removal failed so i guess it should work now but it doesnt....wtf...

I've gotten this problem with a few models before. If you open a file and it appears blank, just try loading it manually through File/Load. It should show up then....

yea it was a trojan

I did have to reinstall both mv and milkshape after I removed it tho
