Yeah, I'm exaggerating everything to make every material look interesting individually. A neat little tricko i learned from someone.

The effect is mostly in the specular and gloss so that it mostly stands out when it's hit by a direct light.

based off the gun from killzone, which is still the coolest videogame gun.
the gl and rear of the receiver are still pretty much straight rips from the original model, im gonna make one based off the tavor/msbs/rdb i think.
i also need to mess with the pistol grip, most bullpups have the pistol grip built in to the receiver, but i want it to be "replaceable" so i need to figure out a way to make that look less goofy.
oh and a forend, with big airholes in it so you can still see through to the barrel cos i think itd be cool if it glowed hot when fired a lot.
the sight is supposed to be a combined red dot/gl sight
that rear iron sight is a real one, i might bake that out seperately and throw it up on gb.

also a dumb grenade for it

I'd do a bit more spec and a bit less gloss since the g36 is a quite grey looking polymer. A detail texture in spec, gloss and normal would help get dat fuzzy surface look they get from casting.
Also, the polymer is fiberglass reinforced. I've found adding a flat-looking frost texture to the gloss does the trick.
