newaze i'm doing this thing. Got most of the materials down, it's missing oily stuff, dust and dirt i wanna do.

Then it's off to source. I'm thinking about writing up a little something, detailing how you can plan your PBR textures to be easily modifiable to fit source or any other shader engine.

that shell is great, and the plastic is awesome. i feel like the metal could be a bit glossier?
the stock has a shading (normals?) error, but whocares noone will see it. also could be a marmo viewer mirroring bug, ive seen that before.
looking forward to seeing that rear keyring thingy jiggle when fired :D

great to see some familiar faces here still. i haven't textured anything in almost 2 years so figured i'd give it another shot. everything is handpainted including the wood. lama's model i believe.

Jeez Splinter that's kickass!

Noodum is forcing me to texture the entire g36, after almost 10 months of not doing anything. Some off-reference parts and weird dirt here and there. This is the first wave of details.

Been working on this g3 for a project recently, I used Brightside as reference, it's still a WIP... fingers aren't moving how I'd like them to atm.

@Splinter been a long time, I missed your handpainted style. If that's all in layers you've got an excellent excuse to do proper materials n' shaders.
@4echo that's a brilliant start. You nailed the material IMO. You're going a different style than I plan to, so that's nice as well :D

Getting close to finishing this. Working on compile and the last dirtiness material (not shown cause it looks like ass). More or less wear can happen.
